About Green's Tavern


Jeremy and Josh grew up together in Gwinnett County, playing on the same little league teams. Both graduated from Collins Hill High School in 1997, the two remained best friends while pursuing their respective careers. Green’s Tavern was created to provide the Flowery Branch community with a new dining experience for everyone in the family. Both having two young sons, but still wanting something young and hip, the idea of a vintage-style tavern was something that came naturally to both. Jeremy and Josh wanted a place where parents could bring their children, enjoy cutting-edge food and a trendy atmosphere, and still be a place where adults could come to enjoy drinks and entertainment.
Green’s Tavern was created by friends and family and hopes to offer this atmosphere and service to its dedicated patrons.

Jeremy Green, co-owner of Green’s Tavern, is no stranger to the culinary world. At an early age, Jeremy realized his passion for the culinary arts and knew that he wanted to one day pursue his passion, providing great food and a family atmosphere. Beginning his culinary pathway in high school, Jeremy was trained in various local restaurants before attending culinary school. After working in the industry for a few years, Jeremy became owner of Biba’s Italian Restaurant in Gainesville. With over 15 years of culinary experience, Jeremy’s culinary creations offer Flowery Branch a menu with an edgy twist, while providing that down-to-earth atmosphere. Jeremy has a wife, Mandy, and two children, Chase who is 5, and Landon who is 2.

Josh Tedder, co-owner of Green’s Tavern, is a family-oriented father, husband and businessman. Being reared in Gwinnett County in a large family, Josh has always made family a priority. Attending Collins Hill High School and The University of Georgia where he played on the UGA Rugby team, Josh has never been a stranger to hard work and pursing his dreams. Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from The University of Georgia and has worked in the hospitality industry for over ten years. Josh’s dream of one day owning a restaurant has become a reality with Green’s Tavern, offering what he would want for his family: great food, family-oriented atmosphere and reasonable prices. Josh has a wife, Kacy who is an educator, and two children, Josiah who is 2 ½ and Asher who is 7-weeks old.
